It’s essential for guests to understand our methods and why we don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach for cutting curls. Every head of hair is unique and deserves focused attention to detail. We value structure and wearability, allowing us to create a flawless shape on any hair type while understanding how texture influences styling and shaping choices.

While dry cutting is popular for curly textures, we believe in blending wet and dry cutting for greater control and better results. Dry cutting alone can sometimes lack structure and precision, but we use it selectively, especially for uneven textures. Every service begins with a thorough consultation, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed before we start.

At Bloom, we create and produce our own line of curly hair products. Our Lavender & Oak products are organic, naturally derived, and free from petrochemicals, parabens, and artificial scents. You can choose your preferred scent from our library of organic essential oils, or take it home unscented if you have sensitivities. Additionally, we carry products from Kevin Murphy, R+Co, Aestelance, and Davines.

New Talent Apprentice

Bloom is thrilled to announce that one of our apprentices has advanced to the second phase of training, and we’re now accepting bookings for apprentice haircuts! These haircuts are performed by trainees in our New Talent Program, who have completed rigorous training in all types of haircuts.

When you book an apprentice haircut, you can expect:

- A consultation to discuss your desired haircut and goals, overseen by our Haircutting Educator

- A 2-hour appointment

- A wash and styling to finish your haircut

- A product consultation and application
