Director of Cutting Education

Bloom Beauty Lounge is looking to hire a full time Director of Cutting Education. You must have experience in education/teaching to be considered for this position.

Although Bloom is known as a Natural and Curly Hair salon, our education at it's core values classic and wet cutting. We are looking for someone who embraces those same ideas and can continue to grow and strengthen our teams abilities behind the chair.

As a Director of Cutting education you will have days/hours on a weekly basis that are dedicated strictly to education while other days will be dedicated to working behind the chair where you will be paid an additional commission on top of your salary.

YOU ARE:

  • A person who has a passion for inspiring others to be the best stylist they can be.

  • Have Experience Teaching Stylists

  • Organised and Creative

  • A leader who is inspiring to their students

  • Have an education background in any of the following Vidal Sassoon, Tony and Guy, Aveda, Paul Mitchell etc.

We offer flexible work schedules, paid time off, and deduction free commission. We are known as a curly hair salon so knowledge of curly hair is a huge plus, but not mandatory. Curly Specialist/Stylist

Job description

Bloom Beauty Lounge is looking to hire a full time Curly Hair Stylist to join our family at Bloom.

At Bloom we often turn walk-ins away so if you are looking to build a clientele fast this is the salon for you. As a well established curly hair salon we are looking for someone who is extremely passionate about curly hair to join our team! We embrace all different styles of cutting hair so we do not require only one technique to be used but we do require a background in precision cutting. Every one of our stylists has their own unique way of cutting curly hair. We offer flexible work schedules, paid time off, and deduction free commission. We do require Sundays as a building day for stylists that are building clienteles.
