Cut and Color with Leeann

Dayna's hair is naturally very straight and fine, and she wanted to add some depth and movement. In order to achieve this I gave her a golden blonde base color with pale blonde highlights. This gives dimension and creates an illusion of depth to the hair. Also, lifting the color added body.

With her cut, I added long layers in the back to keep her fine hair full, without making it look stringy or weak. I went deeper with the layers around her face so she could keep the length in the back, and still have a lot of fun movement. Whether she leaves it straight or curls it, either way will look great!

Desiree's hair is naturally very curly and thick, but she always prefers to wear it straight. We did this cut after a Keratin treatment, which made her hair a lot softer and easier to work with. She is naturally a very dark brunette but to show off her layers, we added some sun-kissed highlights around the shaft and ends of her hair. This makes the color very low maintenance.

With her cut I left the length long but added a lot more layering all over to get rid of any heaviness in her thick hair. Also, adding a few extra short pieces around the face is great for the summer when the pony tail is much needed. The few pieces that fall out can still be very stylish!

Hope you love it!
